Hussein Loraña, a member of Adamson’s Boys’ Athletics Team recently made strides in the international athletics scene after clinching a bronze medal at the Taiwan Open last June 3.

Representing the Philippines, Loraña showed the same mold that made him dominate his competition in the previous UAAP season, giving him a bronze finish in the 800m-run event with an impressive time of 1:51.37.

Loraña's success at the Taiwan Open adds to his already impressive list of accolades. He was honored as the UAAP 86 Athlete of the Year in the Juniors category and was named the the same season’s Boys Athletics Most Valuable Player (MVP).

His outstanding performances throughout the season played a pivotal role in leading the Baby Falcons to victory, cementing his status as one of the country's most promising young athletes.

In the same UAAP campaign, he clinched six gold medals and a bronze, leading his team to back-to-back golden finishes.
