Adamson Architecture Dean, Ar. Sylvester Shaun Seno, has been elected as the Vice President for Programs of the Philippine Architecture Schools Association (PhilASA) for the academic year 2024-2025.

Dean Seno, a respected figure in the architectural community, shared his thoughts on this new responsibility on a social media post emphasizing the importance of focus and dedication.

"Being in a leadership position is such a big responsibility, as such we cannot bite off more than we can chew. I have to let go of other organizational officership commitments for the past few years to render my best for a select few. As we all live once and are not getting any younger, we should carefully choose our battles," he stated.

Reflecting on the nature of leadership, Dean Seno remarked, "Leadership is service; as such, it entails sacrifice and even tradeoffs. It is not a nameplate where we can just collect and brag. Whenever we are entrusted with one, we see to it that we give our 101% effort." His words highlight a profound understanding of leadership, rooted in service and selflessness.

Ar. Jean Cornejo, a former AdU Architecture Dean, meanwhile, was chosen as the group’s president.

As Vice President for Programs, Dean Seno will play a crucial role in shaping the initiatives and activities of PASA, focusing on enhancing the quality of architectural education across the country.
