Adamson University hosted the 12th President's Cup Golf Tournament on June 16, at the Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo, Rizal, bringing together alumni, administrators, and benefactors to raise funds for student scholarships.
The event was organized by the Office for Institutional Advancement (OIA) in partnership with the Adamson University Alumni Association, Inc. (AUAAI) as part of the university’s annual fundraising tradition. The tournament supports the university’s commitment to providing accessible and quality education through sustained financial aid programs.
Among those present were University President Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM, and AUAAI President Engr. Ibrahim Nuño, who led the ceremonial tee-off to officially open the tournament.
Also in attendance were Vice President for Financial Affairs Fr. Rafael Eloriaga, CM, OIA Director Ms. Eva Dulay and officers of the alumni association and members of the extended Adamson community.
Fr. Pilario, during the awarding of winners, disclosed that funds raised reached nearly five million. The scholars also delivered a performance as gratitude for the event’s sponsors and benefactors.
Now in its twelfth year, the Presidential Golf Cup has become a significant platform for alumni and partners to give back, strengthen their ties with the university, and invest in the academic journeys of future Adamsonians. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the university’s scholarship fund.
The tournament underscores Adamson University’s Vincentian mission of transforming lives through education—one swing, one scholar at a time.
