The University’s outsourced personnel, including security officers, maintenance staff, and utility workers, participated in a special Vincentian formation session held on May 5 at the Co Po Ty Hall.

Organized by the Office for Vincentian Identity and Mission (OVIM), the event aimed to deepen the participants’ understanding of the life and mission of Saint Vincent de Paul, while affirming their integral role in the University’s Vincentian identity.

The morning and afternoon batches were given the opportunity to reflect on their vocation of service through a talk by Fr. Renato Ruelos, CM, former Director of the Physical Facilities Office (PFO), missionary, seminary formator and parish priest of the San Vicente de Paul Parish.

Drawing from the life of Saint Vincent, Fr. Ruelos highlighted how even the simplest tasks, when done with love, become part of a greater mission of compassion and justice.

A reflective session followed, facilitated by Miss Evalor Rivera, Theology professor, Vincentian Missionary, and Secretary of the CM Provincial Office.

Through guided activities and discussions, participants were encouraged to find personal meaning in their work and to see how their daily responsibilities align with the values of humility, service, and solidarity.

The formation initiative underscores Adamson University’s commitment to inclusive and holistic formation—extending the Vincentian mission not only to students and faculty, but to all who contribute to the life and operations of the institution.
