Adamson netters fall to UP in UAAP Tennis

The Soaring Falcons' struggle continued in the UAAP 87 Men's Lawn Tennis tournament as they bowed to University of the Philippines, 1-4, yesterday evening at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
Adamson's season struggles continued, dropping them to 2-9 and firmly in sixth place.

UP’s Lance Fernandez showed off his skills in the singles matches, clinching an easy victory against Angelo Rosales, 6-1, 6-1. Andrei Jarata also proved tough for Adamson’s Miecoz Candelasa, coming out on top 6-3, 7-5 to put UP firmly in control.
Raymund Goco and Karl Miguel handed Emmanuel Pedrosa and Ramon Bentillo a 6-2, 6-2 loss in the first doubles match, sealing the win for UP.
While the Falcons faced the disappointment of the loss, they did manage to avoid a sweep as Nikko Lumahang and Tristan Correos found their rhythm in the second doubles match, outplaying Aslan Carbonilla and Miguel Iglupas with a 6-2, 6-4 victory, providing a much-needed point for Adamson.
