Echoes of Valor walking tour honors Adamson WWII legacy

A walking tour marked the culmination of the "Echoes of Valor" exhibition organized by the Adamson University Cultural Affairs Office (CAO) and the Pangkasaysayang Samahan ng Adamson University (PASADU) in commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Battle for Manila, February 13 at the SV Building Hallways.
This initiative offered students a profound opportunity to explore Adamson University’s history during World War II, shedding light on its role and the resilience of its community during one of the nation’s most tumultuous periods.
Discussions from historian and retired Adamson professor, Mr. Jose Maria Bonifacio Escoda, who shared compelling narratives of courage, perseverance, and survival gave more color to the tour, adding more context to each hallowed spaces the participants took.
A select group of students from the Social Science Department participated in the tour, gaining valuable insights into the university’s wartime experiences.
The event underscored Adamson University’s commitment to fostering historical awareness and education, ensuring that the sacrifices and heroism of the past continue to inspire future generations.
