Adamson holds send-off, welcome party for 2025 Mid-Year batch

Adamson University hosted its 2025 Mid-Year Send-Off & Welcome Party, celebrating the achievements of its graduating students and warmly welcoming them into the alumni community.
The event, organized by the Adamson University Alumni Association, Inc. (AUAAI), featured inspiring speeches, ceremonial traditions, and festivities held at the ST Quadrangle in the evening of February 7.
The rites commenced with Welcome Remarks from Gen. Lina Sarmiento, AUAAI Vice President for Internal Affairs, setting the tone for the night’s activities caryring the Tequila Sunrise theme for this batch.
A highlight of the event was the speech by Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM, who congratulated the 812 graduates set to receive their diplomas on February 20. Encouraging them to cherish the moment, he asked them to stand, applaud one another, and express gratitude.
Fr. Pilario emphasized three key messages: gratitude, pride in Adamson University, and the Three C’s—Competence, Character, and Charity. He urged graduates to acknowledge their teachers, staff, and university personnel who contributed to their academic journey.
The 7th president of AdU also encouraged them to uphold and honor the values instilled by their alma mate,reminding the new graduates to excel professionally, act with integrity, and show kindness in their daily lives.
To end, Fr. Pilario reassured them that Adamson will always be their home.
“We are proud of you. Stand high and be proud of yourself because you are an Adamsonian. Congratulations to all the graduates today!” he concluded.
The program included the Induction of Alumni Batch Representatives, the Pledge of Commitment, and the Pinning Ceremony honoring alumni officers, deans, and administrators.
A ceremonial wine toast, led by Fr. Rock Joseph Enriquez, CM marked the graduates’ transition into professional life. The festivities continued with raffle prizes, the singing of the Alumni Hymn with mobile phone flashlights, and the awarding of Mr. & Ms. Star of the Night.
A DJ party and a Same Day Edit presentation by Silip@Lente-AdU capped off the night.
