OUR, international students showcase cultural harmony in coffee babble break

The Office for University Relations (OUR) brought the international student community together on February 4 for a special Coffee Babble Break at the ST Botanical Garden, celebrating both the Chinese New Year and Isra Wal Mi'raj.
The event fostered unity and cultural appreciation as attendees shared stories, engaged in warm conversations, and reflected on the values of peace and solidarity. A brief ceremony highlighted the gathering with the symbolic release of red balloons and doves carrying peace messages, reinforcing the importance of mutual respect and understanding across cultures and faiths.
Adding to the excitement, a raffle giveaway featured themed T-shirts for the upcoming 2025 Taste of the World at Adamson, further building anticipation for the international celebration on February 12.
The Coffee Babble Break once again proved to be a meaningful tradition, strengthening bonds among international students through shared experiences and a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity.
