Adamson admin attend MUST transition rites for new prexy; talks deeper partnership

Adamson University marked a new chapter in its enduring partnership with Minghsin University of Science and Technology (MUST), participating in the Transition Ceremony for MUST’s new president, Dr. Lu Ming Feng, on January 16, 2025.
University President Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM, and Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan, MSCS, Director for University Relations representing the University.
The tight relationship between AdU and MUST has flourished over the years, rooted in a shared commitment to academic excellence, particularly in engineering.
The collaboration has been bannered by two successful Dual Degree Programs: ME Mechatronics and Computer Science and Information Engineering.
Philippine government officials from the Manila Economic and Cultural Office also attended the January 16 ceremony, underscoring the broader significance of the event in strengthening educational and cultural ties between the Philippines and Taiwan.
On January 17, Fr. Pilario and Sr. Padre Juan engaged in productive meetings with MUST officials featuring discussions exploring new opportunities to expand collaboration, with a focus on the burgeoning field of semiconductor education—a critical area of global innovation and industry demand.
Plans were outlined to enhance expertise and workforce readiness, with both universities committing to tangible steps to implement these initiatives.
