Dr. Angelo A. Beltran Jr., a faculty member of Adamson University’s Department of Electronics Engineering, delivered a groundbreaking lecture on renewable energy and sustainable environments at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) in Taiwan during the first week of December 2024.

Dr. Beltran, who specializes in renewable energy systems, power electronics, and applied artificial intelligence, was invited as part of CYCU’s Visiting Professor program.

The presentation, attended by graduate students from the university’s Microgrid class, addressed the global challenges of climate change, emphasizing the need for innovative solutions in both macro and micro contexts.

“I hope my insights inspire international students to apply their research toward solving the climate crisis,” Dr. Beltran said, highlighting the lecture's focus on fostering global awareness and research-driven action.

The lecture was welcomed by Dr. Chian-Song Chiu, Dean of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at CYCU, and Dr. Ying-Yi Hong, Vice President of CYCU.

The event, meanwhile, marked a significant step in strengthening Adamson University’s international academic presence and collaboration.
