For Alessandra Dimaranan, challenges at school become less daunting thanks to her deep commitment to serving Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Wearing the Medal has transformed many aspects of her life, bringing guidance, solace, and even miraculous blessings.

The CpE freshman attributes many of her key life decisions, including her admission to Adamson University, to her devotion, especially during times of uncertainty and despair. Through prayer, she found focus and peace, and by drawing closer to the maternal intercession of the Blessed Mother, her path as a student has become clearer.

“I always feel the motherly love of Mama Mary kasi alam nyo yung concept na ‘di ba nung mga bata tayo, laging nakakapit sa atin yung nanay natin everywhere we go. Ganoon ‘yung feeling ko everyday na laging, laging nandyan si Mama Mary para bantayan ako -- to guide me sa decisions ko, sa physically, mentally-- parang siya ‘yung nanay na laging nakakapit sa akin everywhere I go.”

But beyond receiving blessings, Alessandra gives back by embracing a spirit of humility. She sees the grace she received as a sacred gift, inspiring her to let gratitude guide her personal decisions. As she strives to make better choices, she is deeply anchored in the teachings of her Marian devotion.

“Knowing na ang Medalya Milagrosa ang nag-help sakin na makapasok dito sa university, hindi ko siya bibiguin, kailangan ko mag-aral nang mabuti.”

Keeping reminders of her faith like the Miraculous Medal helps Alessandra feel the Blessed Mother’s loving presence and reinforces the importance of living a life grounded in Christian values. With Our Lady’s intercession, Alessandra remains dedicated to self-improvement, preparing herself to share stories of God’s work in her life. Above all, she aims to embody wisdom in charity and service, bringing Christ’s goodness into her actions.
