A delegation composed of professor from Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) in Taiwan visited the College of Engineering, November _ as part of a partnership aimed at fostering greater academic collaboration and providing valuable insights to students and faculty alike.

Dr. Yu-Ping Liao and Dr. Elizabeth Cha from CYCU’s Intelligent Computing and Big Data Department, along with Dr. Yi-Chun Peng from the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department, engaged with Adamson’s engineering community during a series of lectures held at the Co Po Ty Hall.

Engr. Dylan Josh Lopez, an adjunct professor in the Computer Engineering (CpE) Department and a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering at CYCU, was also present during the event.

The lectures, which focused on topics such as intelligent computing, big data, and industrial systems engineering, provided engineering students with a deeper understanding of the cutting-edge research being conducted at CYCU.

Meanwhile, discussions also looked into potential opportunities for advanced studies at CYCU, encouraging students to consider graduate education abroad.

Through similar collaborations, Adamson continues to offer its students exposure to the latest innovations and research in engineering, ensuring they are well-prepared for future challenges in their careers. The event is just one of several initiatives aimed at strengthening the University’s role in the global academic community.
