Adamson University has solidified its place among the top higher education institutions in the country, maintaining its position as the fifth-best university in the Philippines in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings: Asia 2025 released yesterday.
The University climbed to 411-420 in the Asian region, also securing its spot as the 71st top institution in Southeast Asia. This marks a notable improvement over its 551-600 ranking last 2024.
AdU stood out for its exceptional performance in research output and expanding global presence, topping other Philippine schools in both citations per paper and international student population, while also placing 15th and 41st for the same categories in Southeast Asia.
The University also excelled in international exchange and faculty diversity after it ranked second in the Philippines for inbound exchange students and international faculty.
Peking University in China remained the best school in Asia followed by the University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore, and Nanyang Technological University.
Meanwhile, 25 Philippine universities made it to this year's QS rankings, including the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University and University of Santo Tomas.
The QS Asian University Rankings, under the World University Rankings umbrella, assess institutions based on academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), and faculty-student ratio (10%).
