SHS studes take center stage in teachers’ film org conference

Students from the Senior High School Department bannered the University in the PASADO (Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro) national seminar, presenting their studies during its plenaries last October 11 and 12 at Philippine Christian University in Manila.

The event, themed "EDUKNASYON: Pagtuklas, Pagbaklas at Pagbagtas Tungo sa Matatag na Edukasyon at Nasyon," gathered educational leaders and students from across the nation to discuss innovative approaches to education.
Adamson students garnered two prestigious awards for their research presentations in a commendable display of talent and research excellence.
The team of Faith Shuvyh Rulona, Zara Louise Amay, Lawrence Luis Evardone, and Maria Clarisse Protacio received the Pinakamahusay na Presentasyon - Silver Medal for their research titled “Viva Los Filipinos!: Isang Pagsusuri sa ‘GomBurZa’ Bilang De-Kalidad na Pelikulang Pilipino sa Lente ng mga Eksperto.”

The group’s analysis delves into the cinematic portrayal of the national heroes, reflecting on the film’s cultural significance and artistic merit through expert lenses.
Additionally, the team of Lei Anthonette Red, Hannah Marie Cortel, Stephanie Navarro, and Kristine Revuelta earned the Pinakamahusay na Presentasyon - Bronze Medal for their work, “Pagsasalamin: Isang Paghahambing sa Depiksyon sa Katauhan ng Nepotismo sa Modernong Konteksto ayon sa Dirty Linen.’”
The study offers a critical comparison of character portrayals of nepotism in contemporary narratives, showcasing the relevance of these themes in today's socio-political landscape.
