CCIT features TAR-UMT visiting prof in student development leg of faculty exchange program

The College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT) hosted the Student Development Session of its five-day faculty exchange program promoting the value of collective efforts in academic setup, October 10 at the OZ Audiovisual Hall.

The event with the theme "Transforming SDG Research with LLMs for Bridging AI and Sustainability" featured Dr. Chi Wee Tan, a visiting professor from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR-UMT) in Malaysia.

The TAR-UMT associate professor gave a forum lecture where he highlighted the significance of using innovative concepts to solve problems in the real world. 

Meanwhile, CCIT Dean Dr. Leonard Alejandro, in his opening remarks, highlighted the tagline and meaning of CCIT -- "Catalyzing Change, Innovating for Tomorrow" – and emphasized the direction of Adamson’s newest college.

The faculty exchange program, which featured other enrichment and partnership activities, aims to foster stronger academic collaborations across institutions, encourage intellectual discourse, and develop a forum for sharing information and skills across various subject area. AS/ Komunikator
