CpE faculty members serve as visiting professors in Vietnam U

Faculty members of the University's Computer Engineering Department made a significant mark on the international stage by participating as visiting professors and exchange lecturers at Hue University School of Engineering and Technology (HUET) in Hue City, Vietnam.

Dr. Yolanda Austria, Chairperson of the Computer Engineering Department, and Engr. Hubert Temprosa and Engr. Dexter James Cuaresma delivered lectures to students at HUET, focusing on AI, data Science, and other engineering disciplines.
They covered a range of topics, sharing their expertise on the Fundamentals of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, the Data Value Chain, Data Gathering techniques, Model Training, and the application of Embedded AI.

This academic collaboration results from a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed last year by then-AdU President Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, and Hue University President Prof. Le Anh Phuong.
The partnership was made possible by Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan, MSCS, Director of the Office for University Relations.
