BED studes rule SM Super Spelling Bee

Students from the Basic Education Department shone brightly at the recent SM Super Spelling Bee held last October 6, bagging various awards, bannering Adamson in the competition.
The contest that featured 122 contestants had seven Adamson students securing spots in the top ranks.
Priam Harvey Castillo from Grade 6 clinched he championship title, while Tristan Dela Peña took home second place.
Elixir Bagat from Grade 5 and Vlad Varick Villacorte of Grade 6 finished third and fourth, respectively. In addition, strong performances were also tallied by Yurielle Santos (Grade 6), Danielle Repudas (Grade 5) who reached the final round.
“This achievement highlights the hard work and dedication of our students,” said BED principal Ms. Geraldine Pancho. “We’re thrilled to see such talent among our young spellers.”

Castillo will compete in the Grand Finals at SM MOA on October 23.
