In yet another match that challenged their resolve,  the Falcon Booters bowed to University of the East (UE), 0-3, in the UAAP 87 Men’s Football Tournament, October 6 at the UP Diliman Football Stadium.

Adamson, though, showcased their determination and skill throughout the game, providing a glimpse of their potential moving forward the season.

Despite the setback, Adamson displayed moments of tenacity as highlighted on a John Sabualan free kick in the 75th minute, which ended up on the UE defensive wall.

UE bagged their first goal in the 21st minute off a Jam Mariveles strike from outside the box, followed by a John Bernard Magallon score in the 79th minute. Mariveles netted another in the 84th minute to seal the game for the Recto-based squad.

With the season still in its early stages, the Ang Liga Season 19 champions still have a multitude of chance to get back to their feet.

The Falcon Booters will look to regroup as they prepare for their upcoming match against University of Santo Tomas on October 13 at the same stadium.
