Despite giving a gallant stand, the Baby Falcons succumbed to top-seed University of the East but fell, 63-85, in the UAAP 87 JHS Basketball Tournament held October 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Adamson had a slow start to the game, giving UE the opportunity to establish a 19-point gap in the second quarter, 36-17.  The Alex Barrera-mentored squad then uncorked a 19-10 blast to reduce the gap to 10, 36-46, at the half.

UE, which closed out the first round of the tournament with an undefeated record, quickly seized the third quarter to completely shift the momentum to their side until the endgame.

Chrys Gomez paced the Baby Falcons with 18 points and four assists, while Craig Fongtong tallied another double-double with 17 markers and 11 boards and two rejections.
