Colors of the University’s colleges filled the SV Façade as Adamson U featured a vibrant kaleido-esque kind of welcoming rites for this year’s installment of Tatak Adamson held on September 27.
The festivities kicked off with a morning parade that led to the traditional imprinting of handprints ceremony.
Administrators and faculty members stamped their handprints on the white shirts of freshmen and transferees, implying a sense of acceptance and guidance as the new Falcons embark on their journey as Adamsonians.
Newly minted klasmeyts from different colleges embraced the Adamsonian spirit, participating in the festivities, including a showcase of musical performances.
Adamsonian singer-songwriter Eliza Maturan, known for her hit song Museo, along with rising OPM band Magiliw Street, headlined the event, alongside the local talents from Adamson’s Recognized Student Organizations.
Tatak Adamson is the University’s annual welcoming ceremony for freshmen and transferees, where handprints on their shirts serve as a powerful symbol of the support and guidance of the Adamson community, grounded in the Vincentian tradition.
