Juan Luna: Isang Sarsuela took center stage at the Adamson University Theater on August 27 and 29, marking a successful three-performance run organized by the Philippine Stagers Foundation and the Cultural Affairs Office (CAO).

The play, which highlights the life and contributions of Filipino artist Juan Luna, drew in an enthusiastic crowd of students, faculty, and guests.

The Philippine Stagers Foundation, led by Atty. Vincent Tañada and President Johnrey Rivas, delivered a compelling portrayal of Luna's life, blending drama, history, and music, and blended the educational and artistic value of the performance.

The three-day run saw a strong turnout, with many commending the cast and crew for their dedication and skill in bringing such an important figure in Philippine history to life. The sarsuela format added a traditional Filipino touch, making the play even more relatable to the audience.

Adamson University extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine Stagers Foundation for their efforts, as well as to everyone who supported the event.

The successful staging of Juan Luna: Isang Sarsuela reflects the university’s commitment to encouraging the arts and enriching the student experience.
