CELA hosts Indonesia U for new partnership

Adamson University welcomed esteemed guests from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Indonesia and engaged in a roundtable discussion focused on "Innovative Pathways in Teacher Education: Transforming Educator Preparation for a Dynamic World" on August 20 at the OZ Audio-Visual Room.
The event brought together educational leaders from both institutions to explore and share innovative approaches and best practices in teacher education.
Dialogues focused on how educational institutions can adapt to the demands of the 21st century, with an emphasis on incorporating technology, fostering critical thinking, and promoting cultural sensitivity in the classroom.
The delegation from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan included Dr. Muhammad Sayuti, Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education; Dr. Ani Susani, Vice Dean of Human Resources, Finance, Treasury, and General Administration of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education; and Dr. Rifky Dora Wijayari, Secretary of the English Education Master’s Study Program.
Meanwhile, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rosula SJ Reyes, and College of Education and Liberal Arts Dean Dr. Gliceria Lunag represented Adamson.
Dr. Lunag opened the event with a message for the delegates, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in advancing teacher education.
She also highlighted the need for educators to be equipped with innovative strategies to prepare students for an ever-changing world.
The event also featured a performance by the Adamson University Dance Company - Folk, showcasing traditional Filipino and Indonesian folk dances that celebrated the rich cultural heritage of both nations.
