Communication, Senior High get new heads; former Comm Dept Chair moves to IDEA

The administrative landscape in the University saw more leadership changes with the appointment of new officials as Communication Department Chairperson and Senior High School Academic Head, alongside a new role for the former’s outgoing chairperson.
Starting August 1, Mr. Glenn Ace Parungao will be Chairperson of the Communication Department. The Brigada FM anchor’s appointment marks a new chapter for the department as he takes the helm from Ms. Ailene Ayson.
Ms. Ayson, meanwhile, will step into the role of Director of the Institutional Development and External Affairs (IDEA) Office, which now Office for Vincentian Identity and Mission Dr. Pamela Mantuhac held for four years. This move will be effective this August 1.
In a related move, Mr. Arnel Clavero has been appointed as the Academic Head of the Senior High School Department, effective July 16, replacing Dr. Nea Sualog who is now Senior High’s new principal.
