AdU alumni gather in Vancouver for 5th Global Reunion

The Adamson University Alumni Association British Columbia Chapter recently hosted the 5th Global Alumni Reunion, a highly anticipated event that brought together alumni worldwide.
The four-day celebration, held from July 18 to 21, in the picturesque city of Vancouver, Canada, was filled with camaraderie and festivity.
The reunion began on July 18 with the arrival of guests, creating an air of excitement as alumni from various corners of the globe gathered to reconnect.
On July 19, the official meet-and-greet event took place. It featured the recognition of silver and golden jubilarians, honoring those who graduated 25 and 50 years ago, respectively.
Engr. Ibrahim Nuno, current President of the Adamson University Alumni Association International (AUAAI), delivered a heartfelt message, followed by inspiring words from Fr. Gregorio Banaga Jr., CM, Vicar General of the Congregation of the Mission and 5th President of Adamson University.
The highlight of the reunion was the glamorous gala night on July 20 that featured the message of 7th AdU President Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM, who addressed the gathering with uplifting words that resonated deeply with the attendees.
The evening included the presentation of the International Alumni Achievers Award, which recognizes outstanding alumni from around the world. The AUAAI and the Office for Institutional Advancement (OIA) jointly facilitated this special recognition.
Additionally, alumni participated in a poignant pinning ceremony, a candle-lighting ceremony symbolizing unity and solidarity, and the global reunion flag turnover ceremony, which signified the passing of the torch to future reunion hosts.
The reunion concluded on July 21 with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass, offering a moment of reflection and gratitude for the shared experiences and enduring bonds formed over the years.
Adamson’s 5th Global Alumni Reunion was a resounding success, reinforcing the institution's alumni's strong sense of community and pride.
The Global Alumni Reunion is a University tradition held every two years. Alumni travel from all over the world to relive their Klasmeyt culture and their experiences while they were still students at Adamson.
