IT studes take spotlight in ASAIHL conference with research presentation

Graduating Information Technology students represented Adamson at the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) Conference 2024 held at Juntendo University, Japan ,last June 16 to 17. 

The conference saw the Adamson team present their research paper titled "Network Threat Detection and Anti-Malware System Enhanced with Notifications and Data Analytics Reports." 

Kenny James Ebrada served as the main presenter, and was joined by team members Sean Gabriel Bartolo, Roeth Paula Habungan, and Jubilee Gabriel Mateo. Ms. Quintina Verceles served as the group’s adviser. 

The team specializes in Track 3 - Network and IT Security, showcasing their expertise and innovative approach in enhancing network threat detection and anti-malware systems. 

Their feat highlighted the capabilities of Adamson's IT&IS program and the potential of its students to contribute to the field of network security and similar disciplines.
