HRMDO seminar advocates for gender equality, inclusivity

Promoting a culture of gender equality and inclusivity within academic communities took center stage as Adamson hosted a seminar centered on the said advocacy, April 29 at the Co Po Ty Hall.
Under the theme "We for gender equality and inclusive AdU community," the event aimed to foster awareness and dialogue on crucial issues surrounding gender and inclusivity.
Assoc. Prof. Maria Elissa Lao, the University Gender and Development Office Director of Ateneo de Manila University, delivered a compelling address, drawing from her expertise to shed light on basic principles and practices essential for creating a more inclusive and equitable academic environment.
The seminar delved into fundamental concepts of gender equality, emphasizing the importance of understanding and respecting diverse gender identities and expressions within the school community.
