Furthermore, Dr. Liu pledged continued support and collaboration with AdU, emphasizing the institution's status as not merely partners but as friends and an integral part of the extended academic family, also outlining areas of potential cooperation, particularly in the fields of technopreneurship and fostering linkages within the Taiwan region.
The OUR also showcased the progress of MUST and AdU’s dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics that annually features batches of students going to Taiwan to take up Mechatronics in MUST.
Giving further updates, Dr. Liu also mentioned that some of the members of the initial batches of the dual degree program even went back to MUST for their graduate programs.
The official welcome activities also featured cultural performances by the Adamson University Dance Company - Folk, adding a local touch to the proceedings. The MUST administrators were also treated to a tour of the University Museum featuring Adamson’s history as a technical school established in 1932 and its eventual conversion into a Catholic institution.
