Adamson’s Electronics Engineering Department yielded 17 new Electronics Engineers and 25 Electronics Technicians in the recently concluded April 2024 ECE Licensure Examinations.
Results released last April 17 also showed that five of the 43 hopefuls who took the ECE boards were put under conditional status, meaning the examinees have obtained passing grades in three exams but achieved ratings below 70% but not lower than 60% for the remaining one. They will then be permitted to take a removal exam for the latter, although failure on the said removals means failure of the whole test.
Adamson’s first-time takers, meanwhile, had 11 passers out of 28 takers, with 4 in conditional status.
The national passing rate for the ECE exams stands at 42.49%, with 1,330 out of 3,130 candidates qualifying to receive their licenses.
Meanwhile, Adamson posted a 75.76% passing rate in the Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination, with 25 of the 33 takers making the cut. All of the board passers were first-time takers, which was good for a 78.13% rating.
The national rating, on the other hand, is at 71.67% with 1,819 out of 2,538 candidates passing this examination.
