The Baby Falcons shook up the UAAP 86 High School Boys' Beach Volleyball Tournament by upsetting the defending champions FEU Baby Tamaraws, in a nail-biting three-set showdown at the SM Sands by the Bay, April 21.
Despite facing a formidable opponent, Adamson delivered a stunning performance and showcased their resilience, rallying back from an initial set loss to secure a dramatic comeback victory.
The match unfolded in three intense sets, with both teams trading blows and refusing to back down. After dropping the first set, 11-21, the Baby Falcons mounted a fierce comeback, winning the next two sets with scores of 21-18 and 15-13, respectively.
Meanwhile, in the girls' division, Adamson now has their first winning streak after scoring another impressive victory, this time against fellow powerhouse FEU-Diliman Baby Tamaraws, 14-21, 21-16, 15-11.
It was like de ja vu as the Baby Lady Falcons similarly lost the first set, before mounting a spirited rally to bag the two succeeding sets.
With the win, the boys from San Marcelino raised their record to 2-1, while the girls team hold a 2-0 slate.
