Adamson, APU Malaysia forge ties for academic, cultural exchanges

Adamson University (AdU) and Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) of Malaysia inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), at the Office of the President Conference Room, March 21.
The MOU signing ceremony, attended by distinguished representatives from both institutions, marked the commencement of continuous collaborative efforts aimed at enriching educational experiences and facilitating knowledge and cultural exchange between the two academic institutions.
The agreements outlined in the MOU encompasses various facets of academia, including faculty and researcher exchanges, student mobility at both undergraduate and graduate levels, sharing of instructional materials, joint organization of continuing education activities such as seminars and workshops, and promotion of cultural exchanges through the dissemination of information on culture, arts, and heritage studies.
University President Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM, along with Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rosula Reyes and Vice President for Administrative Affairs Dr. Venusmar Quevedo was present for AdU in the event.
Also in attendance were Fr. Rock Joseph Enriquez, CM, Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Merlinda Palencia, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Sr. Maruja Padre Juan, MSCS, Director for the Office for University Relations.
Representing APU, meanwhile, were Vice Chancellor Dr. Ho Chin Kuan and Ts. Nur Zahdi Mohd Nor Aldin, Director for Quality Management.
APU, a distinguished private university in Malaysia, holds the distinction of being recognized among the top 2.2% of universities worldwide. It stands as the sole Malaysian university to achieve the prestigious QS "5 Stars Plus" Rating and secure a place in the QS World University Ranking 2024.

The MOU also strengthened the ties between both universities and paved the way for a fruitful partnership that promised to shape the future of education and research in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
