Vietnam U welcomes visiting profs, lecturers from AdU-COE

Adamson University's College of Engineering (AdU-COE) recently had its faculty members embark on a mission to share knowledge and expertise in Vietnam.
Engr. Jerome Jordan Famadico, Chairperson of the Civil Engineering Department at AdU, along with Engr. Crispin Lictaoa and Engr. Edward Caezar Alimorong, professors from the same department, served as Visiting Professor and Guest Lecturers, respectively, at at Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) from March 11 to 15.
The collaboration centered around a series of enlightening lectures in civil engineering, focusing particularly on topics in Construction Engineering and Management as part of NTTU's English for Construction 2 course.
Meanwhile, the lectures delivered by the AdU faculty members engaged 3rd year and 4th year NTTU students, providing them with valuable insights and practical knowledge in their field of study.
Dr. Vu Truong Vu, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at NTTU, extended a warm welcome to the AdU delegates during the opening program, marking the commencement of an enriching week-long exchange of ideas and experiences.
Throughout the five-day program, both faculty members and students actively participated in discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
The culmination of the week was marked by a captivating play presented by NTTU students, skillfully showcasing scenarios related to the intricacies of running and managing a construction project, all conducted in English to enhance language proficiency.
This milestone marks an enduring partnership aimed at facilitating student international educational travel, fostering research collaboration, and promoting lecture exchanges between the two institutions.
With plans for the visiting professor program to become an annual tradition, the future holds promising opportunities for further academic enrichment and cultural exchange between Adamson and NTTU.
