The Falcon batters failed to repeat against University of Santo Tomas, falling, 9-11, in the UAAP 86 Baseball Tournament held March 14 at the UP Diliman Baseball/Softball Field in Quezon City.

Adamson remained at par with their España-based foes but an error-filled sixth inning, which allowed the Tigers to punch in eight runs, proved to be the difference for the team to reclaim the winning form they showed when they downed the Tigers in the first round of eliminations.

Adamson was still up, 3-2, with two outs in the sixth inning, but successive defensive lapses led their foes to pounce on them and eventually erect a signifiicant advantage.

The Falcons tried to mount a response with five runs of their own in the sixth, but UST's solid pitching proved instrumental in securing the game for the Tigers. John Reymond Vargas stood out for Adamson with his offensive prowess, but eventually fell short.

Adamson looks to regroup and address areas of improvement to chase a finals berth slowly closing but still within reach.
