MIT student gets study published in ACM Library

Master of Information Technology student Ryan Tabayoyong Rillera and adviser Dr. Leo Alejandro have successfully published their research paper titled "Web Based Signature Authenticity Application" in the esteemed Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Library.
The paper, a culmination of rigorous academic research, delves into the development of a Web Based Signature Authenticity Application, offering valuable insights into the field of digital security and authentication.
“The overall objective of the proposed capstone project is to have immediate and accurate results of an investigation whether the signature is legitimate or counterfeit,” its abstract stated.
“The conclusion of the study shows that image recognition is the core development of the project, with the use of Artificial Intelligence, feeding the database with images will have a higher accuracy rate in authenticating signatures.”
The said publication stands as a testament to the dedication and scholarly excellence of both the student and his adviser fostered in the University.
