Adamson University strengthens educational partnerships in Vietnam visit

Adamson University (AdU) delegation led by President Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM, sealed numerous ties during their trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam this March 4 to 6.
The activities during the visit aimed at forging and reinforcing educational collaborations with prestigious international institutions.
The first day began with a reception at the University of Economics and Finance (UEF) led by Dr. Bruce Do, UEF Vice President, Dr. Rose Nhung Nguyen, UEF International Institute Deputy Director and Mr. Hoang Daniel UEF International Institute team leader.
AdU’s delegation had insightful discussions with the administrative team in charge of the joint business management program with Keuka College in the United States, represented by Mr. Gary Giss, Dean of International Programs in Southeast Asia. This exchange of experiences laid the groundwork for potential future ventures, particularly a Dual Degree program between AdU and Keuka.
The representatives from the University also included Dr. Ruben Nayve, Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Emily Baluyot, Chairperson of the Financial Management Department and Sr. Maruja Padre Juan, MSCS, Director for University Relations (International Linkages and Global Engagement).
Adamson, through Fr. Pilario, then finalized a Memorandum of Understanding with Van Lang University (VLU), represented by VLU President Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, on the next day during a ceremony attended by top leaders from both universities.
The said partnership promises to create new opportunities for student exchanges, collaborative research, and mutual enrichment.
The AdU group then met with officials from Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) the next day to discuss opportunities for extensive academic partnership. Discussions centered on increasing activities, notably incorporating AdU's College of Business Administration into the arrangement, with an emphasis on preparing students for global demands.
The exchange with NTTU leaders led by President Dr. Tran Ai Cam also underlined the opportunity for mutual growth and progress in this endeavor. The dedication to providing a comprehensive educational experience reflects a common goal of encouraging cultural interchange and intellectual performance.
Assoc. Prof. Dr.Vu Truong Vu, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineerng, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Mr. Le Quang Khanh, Head of the Department of International Relations, and Dr. Nguyen Thue Quy and Dr. Le Ho Minh Tri, both faculty members of the Civil Engineering Department were also present during the occasion.
The said activities demonstrate AdU's commitment to expanding international cooperation, positioning it as a beacon of advancement in the global educational scene. The connections formed during this tour have the potential to shape the future of education, crossing borders to provide meaningful academic experiences for students.
