The University's Men's Volleyball Team proved to be too much for University of the East as they took a commanding straight-sets victory, 25-16, 25-20, 25-23, for their second win in UAAP 86, March 3, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The Soaring Falcons displayed exceptional teamwork and skill throughout the match, establishing an early lead and breezing through competition in the first two sets.

Facing a more determined UE squad in the third set, the San Marcelino-based squad showed composure late in the final frame to finally seal the match for their side.

Jude Aguilar and Francis Casas stepped for the Falcons as the Red Warriors staged a comeback to steal the third set, delivering a crucial quick attack and a solid kill block, respectively, to seal the victory for their team.

In the post-game interview, Falcons head coach George Pascua highlighted the team's determination to learn and improve from previous losses, which served as motivation for their success against UE, also expressing satisfaction with how their hard work materialized in the game.

Aguilar and Casas emerged as standout performers for Adamson, each tallying 14 points while also making significant on their team’s defense. Rookie Joel Menor also made his presence felt, adding 12 points, seven excellent receptions, and five digs to help secure the win.

With this victory, Adamson improves to a 2-2 record, which puts them tied for fifth place with Ateneo de Manila University.

Adamson will try to cool down undefeated Far Eastern University in their next match this March 9 at the same venue.
