The Lady Falcons continue to build on another dominant run in the UAAP 86 Softball Tournament, securing their second consecutive victory in as many games with a resounding 13-0 win over De La Salle University, March 2 at the UP Diliman Baseball/Softball Field in Quezon City.

The match only lasted for four innings as Adamson unleashed a hitting clinic bannered by the first home run of the season.

The Lady Falcons wasted no time asserting their dominance, unleashing a relentless hitting barrage in the third inning that saw their lead swell from 5-0 to an insurmountable 13-0.

Designated hitter Krishna Cantor led the charge, showcasing her batting prowess with a triple and eventually sealing the deal with an inside-the-park home run.

Cantor's stellar performance earned her a perfect three-for-three clip, including a single, a triple, and the home run, contributing two of Adamson's 13 runs.

Adamson head coach, Ana Santiago, lauded her team's impressive display, emphasizing the importance of maintaining focus and avoiding overconfidence.

Madelaine Domauag also made significant contributions to Adamson's offensive onslaught, chipping in with two hits of her own out of nine at-bats.

Meanwhile, reigning Best Pitcher Glory Alonzo made a solid Season 86 debut, showcasing her prowess on the mound with one strikeout in her seven batters faced. Alonzo was later replaced by Jane Sigue and April Minanga, who combined to shut down De La Salle's offense, ensuring a shutout for Adamson.

With the win, Adamson now sits tied for the top spot with University of the Philippines.

Adamson returns to the diamond this March 6 against Ateneo de Manila University at the same venue.
