The campus buzzed with intellectual fervor as the University opened its annual Research Colloquium this February 14 and 15 in different venues.

Highlighting the significance of scholarly inquiry in Adamson’s academic pursuits, the event underscored the University's commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation as observed on the theme of the week-long celebration of its 92nd Founding Anniversary, "Vincentian Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."

The colloquium serves as a platform for scholars to share their discoveries aimed at addressing contemporary challenges and advancing the frontiers of knowledge.

University President Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM, a renowned scholar and advocate for research, delivered an impassioned address emphasizing the pivotal role of inquiry in the University's mission.

Joined by key figures from the academic community, including directors, deans, and department chairs, Fr. Pilario emphasized the importance of nurturing a culture of curiosity and critical thinking among students.

“In Adamson University, no questions are forbidden,” Fr. Pilario expressed, borrowing an idea fostered by various research-based educational institutions.

“Research can only come from questions – real questions from us. The real problem of research is getting and creating a problem... so in Adamson, I say we should ask questions, in Adamson, no question is forbidden,” he furthered.

As attendees immerse themselves in the wealth of knowledge on display of the featured research posters, they are reminded of the transformative power of innovation in shaping the understanding of the world and driving positive change.
