Adamson University has expanded its partnership with Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), which is ranked among the top 10 universities in Taiwan.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rosula SJ Reyes engaged in fruitful discussions with CYCU representatives, fostering stronger ties between the two institutions last February 3 in Taiwan.
Dr. Reyes met with CYCU administrators led by Vice-President Prof. Hong Ying-Yi and Office for International and Strait Relations Dean Prof. Wei Ta-Chin, with discussions focused on exploring avenues for academic collaboration, joint research initiatives, and exchange programs between the universities.
Also present were the deans of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Intelligent Computing and Quantum Information and Architecture departments.
The said partnership aims to create a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange and academic growth, allowing students and faculty members to benefit from diverse perspectives and research opportunities and paved the way for a comprehensive understanding of each institution's strengths, fostering a collaborative spirit that will drive innovation and excellence in education.
In addition to solidifying ties with CYCU, Dr. Reyes also explored potential academic partnerships with Chang Gung University (CGU), recognized as the second-ranked private university in Taiwan.
This strategic move aligns with the University's commitment to providing its students with a globalized education and enhancing the quality of academic programs through international collaborations.
The discussions with CYCU and CGU reflect Adamson's dedication to expanding its global footprint and fostering meaningful relationships with esteemed institutions worldwide.
As the university continues to foster internationalization, such collaborations open new doors for students and faculty, providing them with enriching opportunities for academic and cultural exchange.
