AdU delves into innovative higher education practices with AppliedHE seminars

The University welcomed AppliedHE Founder and CEO Ms. Mandy Mok, along with her colleague Mr. Simon Yeo, for an insightful talk series on "Charting the Future of Higher Education with AppliedHE" last January 31.  

The event attended by directors, office heads, and staff introduced new concepts and ideas that promise to reshape the landscape of higher education. 

Ms. Mok shared her expertise and insights, inspiring the participants to explore new ideas that can enhance the overall learning experience for students, and providing a platform for discussions on innovative approaches and strategies aimed at advancing the quality and effectiveness of higher education.  

In a separate learning session, VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Rosula S.J. Reyes and University Relations Director Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan, MSCS represented the University at the AppliedHE Xchange Workshop: Philippines last February 1 at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City. 

Themed "Strategic Quality Improvement across the University," the workshop brought together more than 50 delegates from various academic institutions in the country to discuss ideas focused on fostering collaborative discussions and sharing best practices to elevate the standards of higher education in the country.  

The event provided an opportunity for participants to engage in meaningful conversations, exchange ideas, and explore innovative strategies for enhancing the quality of education at their respective institutions.
