BVT keeps F4 alive after crucial dub over DLSZ

The Baby Falcons kept their UAAP 86 Boys’ Volleyball tournament Final Four hopes alive after a resounding victory over De La Salle Zobel, 25-11, 25-16, 25-18, January 21, at the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino. 

With the win, Adamson improved their record to a 6-6 card, remaining a game down of University of Santo Tomas that is currently at 7-5. 

The Baby Falcons asserted their dominance early in the third set, establishing a commanding 9-4 lead. Despite encountering a brief setback with three consecutive attack errors, they managed to maintain a two-point advantage. 

Adamson, though. regained control, extending their lead to six, 18-12.  

DLSZ then unleashed three unanswered points, which was then countered by the San Marcelino crew punctuated by a combination play from CJ Dominguito that put them to match point. 

Dwight Tabon delivered the game-winning attack and ended the set and the match at 25-18. 

Adamson now aims to catchup with UST as they face University of the Philippines Integrated School this January 23 at the same venue.
