The Baby Falcons posted an elimination round shutout of reigning champions Far Eastern University-Diliman, claiming a 76-66 win and securing the first Final Four berth in the UAAP 86 Boys' Basketball tournament, January 14, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Returning skipper Justine Garcia continued where he left off before he was sidelined, leading Adamson with 14 points, four assists, and two steals after logging in 23-minutes off the bench. Garcia did not commit a turnover throughout his time on the court.

The Pampanga native missed the previous game against University of the East after he went down due to an ankle injury in their shocking loss against National University last week.

Adamson head coach Mike Fermin, in the post-game interview, admitted that Garcia was a big part of the team, especially in their offense, mentioning that a huge chunk of their plays goes through him and that most of their sets where he had the ball had positive results.

Vince Reyes, meanwhile, continues to break out for Adamson, leading his team with 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Adamson jumped on FEU right in the opening frame, ending it 21-14. The Baby Falcons never looked back from them, staving off the runs mounted by the Veejay Pre-led Baby Tamaraws.

The Baby Falcons will try to build another winning streak as they face Ateneo de Manila University this January 17 at the same venue.
