The Baby Falcons secured a 68-57 secured a sweep of the UAAP 86 Boys’ Basketball Tournament after exacting revenge over their UAAP 85 finals tormentors and current defending champion Far Eastern University-Diliman, December 17 at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Zahir Sajili delivered a stellar performance with 11 points and four rebounds, complemented by Justine Garcia's consistent play, contributing 10 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. The duo played a pivotal role in the Baby Falcons' victory, propelling them to a perfect 7-0 record as they head into the Christmas break.

Baby Falcons coach Mike Fermin lauded his team for their hard work and dedication, acknowledging the well-deserved reward of a first-round sweep.

Despite their lead reaching a high of 16 in the second half, Adamson had to fight off the pesky team from Morayta as they try to mount comebacks highlighted by their huge push in the endgame.

"Hindi basta-basta bibitaw iyan. Champion team ‘yan [eh]," Fermin said, recognizing the resolve of their foes.
