A delegation led by Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, represented Adamson University in the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) International Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam with hopes of strengthening ties and establishing new collaborations with international counterparts.

The delegation, which also included Dr. Nuna Almanzor, Director of the Center for Research and Development, Mr. Riel Anthony Oli from the College of Pharmacy, and Engr. Jerome Jordan Famadico, Chairperson of Civil Engineering, attended the event themed "International Cooperation toward Excellence in Training and Research," held last December 5 to 9, 2023, at the University of Science & Technology of Hanoi.

The event aims to explore and promote international collaboration to enhance the quality of training and research in higher education institutions.

Also featured as sub-themes of the conference were International Cooperation toward Excellence in Training; International Cooperation toward Excellence in Research; and International Cooperation and Networking for Governance.

The conference also provides an excellent opportunity for delegates to engage with the broader academic community, share expertise, and strengthen connections among Southeast Asian institutions, where the exchange of knowledge and experiences is expected to contribute to the enhancement of the educational landscape in the region.

The ASAIHL International Conference underscores Adamson's commitment to international cooperation and collaboration, aligning with its mission to provide a globally competitive education. Fr. Manimtim is the current President of the ASAIHL-National Council of the Philippines (NCP).
