Education Dept yields excellent results in September 2023 LET

The University’s Education Department is celebrating outstanding success after the results for the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) released last December 9 saw high passing rates among its degree programs. 

The Bachelor of Elementary Education program (BEED) achieved an impressive 100% passing rate for first-time takers. The overall passing rate, meanwhile, stands at a remarkable 90.91%, which significantly surpasses the national passing rate of 47.01%. 

Results for the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) program is equally commendable, where BSED first-time takers secured a notable 81.25% passing rate. The overall passing rate, on the other hand, is at 63.04%, which was similarly above the 56.26% national passing rate. 

The said performance in the LET reflects the dedication and competence of both students and faculty members, led by its chairperson, Dr. Rosalie Meriales. Such results underscore AdU’s commitment to providing quality teacher education and producing highly competent and qualified educators who contribute to the advancement of the education sector in the country.
