Adamson's SV Grounds pulsated with energy of first- and second-year students as they gathered for "Zumbang Gabi" this December 6.
The event featuring students taking PE 1 and PE 3 courses was organized to raise funds for scholars -- a testament to the Adamsonian spirit and a heartwarming display of charity.
In her welcome remarks, College of Education and Liberal Arts Dean Dr. Gliceria Lunag extended her appreciation to the Physical Education Department for leading the initiative. CELA served as hosts of the event.
She then emphasized the goal of the event, namely, to provide crucial support to scholars, encompassing the general welfare of the Adamson Community.

The occasion was also hailed as a perfect Christmas gift to both Adamson University and its student body but, more significantly, to the scholars who stand to benefit from the charitable proceeds.
Vice President for Financial Affairs Fr. Rafael K. Eloriaga, CM, Center for Research and Development Director Fr. Daniel Franklin Pilario, CM and Office for Institutional Advancement Ms. Eva Dulay were also present in the occasion, that was joined by Graduate School students.
Representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP) served as the Zumba facilitators, guiding participants through different lively dance routines that featured a mix of classic and modern Original Pilipino Music (OPM) hits, as well as the latest tracks today in social media application Tiktok.

The event achieved a spirited display of dancing and an impressive feat of generosity, successfully raising more than half a million pesos in funds.
The celebration was further elevated by the presence of notable personalities, including former King Falcon Jerom Lastimosa and Lady Falcons Lucille Almonte, AA Adolfo, and Ange Alcantara. The Physical Education teachers also took part, showcasing their own vibrant Zumba routine.
