Baby Falcon spikers escape UST in five-set thriller

The Baby Falcon Spikers triumphed over the University of Santo Tomas Junior Golden Spikers in a thrilling five-set encounter, 22-25, 25-21, 23-25, 29-27, and 15-12, in the UAAP 86 Boys’ Volleyball Tournament held November 25 at the Adamson University Gym.
With Tommy Castrodes spearheading their offense, the Baby Falcons established an early lead in the deciding set, setting the tone at 8-3. The Junior Golden Spikers, however, kept the game close, refusing to yield easily.
An attack by Brandy Clemente propelled the Baby Falcons to match point followed by a powerful kill from Jims Ducusin that secured the hard-fought win for Adamson.
The victory marked the Baby Falcon Spikers' second consecutive victory in the tournament, elevating their record to 3-1 and securing a solo second seed in the first round.
