Baby Falcon paddlers register contrasting results in UAAP 86 campaign

The Falcon paddlers registered different results in Round 1 of competitions of the UAAP 86 Table Tennis Tournament held November 9 to 10 at the Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City.
The Boys’ team posted four wins in five games, only dropping their match against top-seed University of Santo Tomas. The Baby Falcon paddlers scored sweeps against University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University and 3-1 victories over University of the East and De La Salle University.
Meanwhile, the girls’ team had two wins and three losses. Their victories came from a sweep over UP and Ateneo.
The Baby Lady Falcon paddlers, though, were swept by their foes from UE and De La Salle. Their match with UST reached a deciding set which they eventually dropped.
On the other hand, the men’s team stands at a 2-4 record, while the women’s team is at 1-5.
Second-round of competitions were scheduled this November 14 and 15 in the same venue.
