Davies-Adamson continues their stellar run in Group C of the Spikers’ Turf Invitational Conference, this time hurdling a tough challenge from St. Gerrard Construction Benilde, 39-37, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, November 12, at the Paco Arena.

With the win, the Falcons raised their record to a 3-0 card, which pushed them atop Group C, tied with powerhouse Cignal HD Spikers.

Despite missing head coach George Pascua who is currently in a medical clinic in the United States, the San Marcelino crew managed to register another victory over a Benilde team that pushed them to a season set score record that nearly reached 40 points for both teams.

Assistant Coach Fritz Santos was tasked to man the sidelines for Adamson for the whole span of the tournament.

With Benilde stealing the second frame, the Falcons made sure they would secure the succeeding sets and close out their foes in four sets.

Adamson pulled away late in the fourth, establishing a huge seven-point gap, 24-17. A cross-court hit from Marc Paulino then ended the game for the boys in blue and white.

Francis Casas led the Falcons with 17 points off 15 attacks and two blocks, whole John Gay had 16 markers and 10 excellent receptions. Jude Aguilar also contributed 16 points off 13 attacks, two aces and a block.
