He presented his study titled “Development of Grid Connected Solar PV Power Management Controller with Internet of Things based Real Time Data Checking,” and another titled “Off-Grid Solar PV System with Web Based Data Management and Sun Tracking Capability for Brgy. 649, Baseco Compound, Manila,” which he co-authored with Engr. Norman Tallud, John Mico Guevarra, Jericho Baluyot, and Joshua Castro on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

In the second paper, Dr. Beltran, together with his co-authors, developed a power management scheme with the aid of information technology tools through computers and mobile phones with advanced techniques in monitoring schemes helps achieve good utilization and efficiency of renewable energy such as solar PV in powering up the target loads such as electrical appliances. Dr. Beltran specializes in renewable energy systems and power electronics.

Talking about of his new feat, the ECE faculty member expressed pride in showing their findings and contributions to the academic community.

“It is my delight and confidence to flaunt our research in an international forum; the acceptance of our work for exhibit in an international conference only means that we are doing high quality research that is based on international standards,” he said.
