AdU NROTC posts dominant run in NCR ROTC games

The University’s Reserved Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) yielded various golden finishes in the National Capital Region (NCR) leg of the first ever ROTC Games held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, October 14.
With 53 delegates bannering the 246th Naval ROTCU of Adamson University, AdU’s representatives competed in seven different sporting events and bagged gold in the volleyball, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Arnis (Women’s Featherweight), 100-meter and 200-meter sprints of the Men’s and Women’s Division, the 4x400-meter and 4x100-meter relay in the Men's Division.
UAAP 85 Boys’ Track and Field Most Valuable Player Kent Francis Jardin led the AdU contingent after bagging a golden triple for the men’s 200m, 4x110 relay and 4x400 relay events.
In total, the group capped nine gold medals, seven silvers, and one bronze medal.
The said medalists will be set to compete against the best in the Philippines during the National Championship featuring competitors from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao slated this October 22 to 24.
